Principal Process Engineer Job Desricption: Responsible for the definition and development of the P&ID's and associated deliverables on a new refinery project. Areas include CDU/VDU pluss off-sites and utilities. When required, conduct , co-ordinate or participate in HAZOP studies, reliability studies and risk assesments. Develop flare loads for the various relief cases and size the flare and blowdown systems. Review the Process Control Diagrams, P&ID's , vessel drawings, operating manuals and Plot Plan for safety and operability. Participate in all required review meetings for process, offsite and utility P&I diagrams and perform other reviews and checks as listed in MK-G-4-22, standard procedure for Assuring the Quality of Process and Engineering Design and Safety.
