Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical started the Petro Rabigh Project with the aim of building integrated oil refining and petrochemical operations by way of upgrading Saudi Aramco’s oil refinery and constructing a new petrochemical complex. A joint venture agreement was signed between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical in August 2005 and Petro Rabigh was established, an equally owned joint venture to run the Rabigh complex, in September of the same year

  • HOFCCU (High Olefin Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit) is designed to convert 92 000 BPSD of Hydrotreated VGO utilizing Stone & Websters Deep Catalytic Cracking (DCC) technology and Yokogawa DCS to get the Processing Objective of 900 KTA Propylene ex-Converter
  • Global Energy was posted by Petrorabigh for Support Services for Commissioning & Startup of the High Olefin Fluid Catalytic Cracker (DCC-Stone & Webster technology & Propylene Converter) of the integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Complex.
  • We provided a team of experienced Commissioning & Startup Advisors Commissioning Startup and Initial Operations including the DCS Panel Training.
